We all have mental health.
Mental health is about our feelings, how we think, our emotions and our moods.
They are things we cannot see but affect us all in different ways.
Looking after our mental health is important.

If you have any worries or concerns abut your child's mental health, please contact your class teacher or make an appointment with Sara Chignell who is our Senior Mental Health Lead who will work with you to support their needs.

As parents and carers with a Cheshire postcode, you can also contact VISYON direct or Just Drop In which are both free services offering support for a variety of different needs.

Mental Health Champions
At Styal, we have a group of Key Stage 2 children who are trained as Mental Health Champions. They meet with the Senior Mental Health Lead to discuss issues related to mental health and wellbeing and how to promote it acoss the school community. They actively encorage others to speak up about their wellbeing and have written a pledge to support the school community.
