Our snowy week at school.

This week we have had some snow, which meant we had a snow day on Wednesday. Since then we have been learning lots and even got to build a snowman on our playground!

Today we learnt the story of Jack and the Beanstalk using a text map. This story is a traditional tale that has inspired our topic this term.

In Numeracy, we have been perfecting our skills of counting in jumps - this will help with our times tables.

In ICT this week we learnt about algorithms and used them to help us direct an angry bird towards a naughty pig. It was fun!

This afternoon we will continue with our brainboost - the cookery group will be making posh hot chocolates whilst the artists will be adding colour to their creations.
