Emotionally Healthy Schools

Our School Definition

We all have mental health.

Mental health is about our feelings, how we think, our emotions and our moods.

They are things we cannot see but affect us all in different ways.

Looking after our mental health is important.

Mental Health Champions

We have a group of Key Stage 2 children who are trained Mental Health Champions. They meet regulary to discuss issues to related to mental health and how to promote it across the school. They have an input into the content which goes into our Wellness Wednesday flier which is published each month.

If you have any worries or concerns abut your child's mental health, please contact your class teacher or make an appointment with Sara Chignell who is our Senior Mental Health Lead who will work with you to support their needs.

How to access help out of school hours.
