This week in Year 3 and 4 ...
Date: 10th May 2019 @ 3:05pm
What a wonderful week we have had in Year 3 and 4!
We have continued working with our class text "The Great Kapok Tree" in Literacy and have used it to inspire us to write AMAZING persuasive letters to protect our Rainforests. We have identified persuasive devices that we need to include and have pleaded with the world to save our Rainforests!
In Maths we have been adding lengths and particularly enjoyed measuring our heights to work out who, collectively had the tallest table.
On Thursday Morning we also created an immense display to complement our topic, designing our very own rainforest at the back of the classroom with all of our favourite creatures within it.
Swimming was once again a success and EVERYONE remembered their kits which made Miss Yardley super happy! We all tried so hard, some of us even ending our lesson by swimming the entire length of the pool before we could get out.
We have worked so hard and are definitely ready for a well deserved rest this weekend.
Have a fabulous weekend everyone,
From all of Year 3 and 4 :)
