Friday 22 June

Date: 22nd Jun 2018 @ 4:24pm

What an exciting week; starting with the discovery of a giant egg in Forest school!  Mrs Browne helped take the egg carefully back to the safety of our class and we have now written letters to the Curator at the National History Museum asking for advice.  The class have really worked hard at this and should be proud of their wonderful letter writing!

In Maths we have also learnt a lot about position and plotting points on the grid with some great treasure islands created today.  We have also done extra practise tests on timestables - Y4s have done extremely well and nearly all of us know all our timestables now.  Y3s are also working hard as they need to know x3 x4 x8 x6 as well as keep on practising x2 x 5 x 10.

Special well done to the following children who received awards in Celebration assembly today:

Y3 Charlie for his excellent all round good attitude to work

Y4 Thomas Vose for working hard on his homework

All the children that complete homework now take part in a lottery ticket draw - this week's winner is Daisy and she will get to choose a small prize!

We can't wait to work more with our giant egg next week and hope you have a great weekend

Y34 Team

PS Remember all our photos are now in the gallery:  3 4  Summer - take a look at our learning activities!
