Drumming at Styal!
Date: 21st Jun 2019 @ 1:52pm
We've had a very busy week this week.
On Tuesday was our great Science share - we learnt all about the River Bollin thanks to our visitor from the National Trust. Did you know that it flows for 30 miles! We made a magnetic fishing game to help us clean up the river and we also made posters to raise awareness about the endangered water mole.
On Wednesday, we went drumming. It was a great opportunity to be part of a music video. Toegther, we travelled to the mill and followed a given rhythm. We had a professional soundsman and camera person too! We can't wait to see the finished product.
In Literacy, we have continued our learning of the story Zog by Julia Donaldson. We wrote letters to Princess Pearl to thank her for her help and even gave Zog some instructions on how to fly (he wasn't doing a very good job on his own!)
Until next week!
