This week in Year 3 and 4 ...
Date: 26th Apr 2019 @ 1:55pm
What a short, yet busy first week back it has been for everyone in Year 3 and 4.
We started our week by sharing with our friends what we had been doing during the Easter holidays. We used this information to create a plan for our writing as this week we have written a recount about our time off school.
In Maths this week we have started a new learning focus all about measuring. This week we have been measuring length using mm, cm, m and km. We have had to put our prior place value knowledge to use, when converting and comparing lengths in different units of measure.
We have also introduced our new topic for the term which is The Rainforest, we have learnt lots of new vocabularly and that the biggest rainforest in the world is called The Amazon.
We are very excited about the week ahead, as we start swimming on Tuesday!
A fabulous week all round, have a wonderful weekend,
From everyone in Year 3 and 4 :)
