Friday 20th April Sunshining!
Date: 20th Apr 2018 @ 4:43pm
What a wonderful start to the Summer term with lots of opportunities to get outside to do active learning - from timestables star jumps to imagining being in a cave like Stone Age Boy! Going swimming was very popular all the children were awarded housepoints by Mrs Browne for their wonderful behaviour - well done!
The children have nearly learnt the story in Talk for Write style with lots of actions and learnt to use good descriptions for settings. Money maths has been popular with converting, ordering and estimating in £ and pence.
Next week we continue with solving money problems using calculations and story writing using our book Stone Age Boy as a stimulus.
Well done to Neve Y4 and George Y3 for Star of the Week Awards. George has worked hard in his English and Maths groups every day and Neve always shows a hard working, caring attitude in everything she does.
Reminder: the new timetable and information about this term is all on the website so please take a look for more detailed information of learning. Please note that PE is now on Wednesday afternoons and kit is needed.
Have a great weekend hoping the sunshine continues!
