The class have had a very busy week and enjoyed lots of different types of learning.
The most popular learning has been from our class text 'Oliver and the Seawigs' from reading about the islands, writing a rescue story and drawing their own type of seawig.
Outside learning has been very popular with a Science Sound Survey, Y4 Den building in Forest school not forgetting our first hockey lesson.
We have also done practical learning in class using playdough to find fractions and the very popular sound investigations. Penny demonstrated our favourite 'twanging rulers' showing that the shorter the ruler the louder the sound made. Hopefully we will add some photos to our gallery soon.
Children are starting to learn Christingle hymns for our service in early December (date to be confirmed shortly) and are sounding lovely!
Congratulations to our stars of the week:
Y3 Mathilde - great effort in her plan and story writing
Y4 Alfie H - for his great attitude and trying hard in all his learning
Next week we are going to gather all the information we collected for our homework on Victorian Inventors and learn to write reports as well as learning about the measure of Time in Maths.
Bye for now!
